The Question Is, Can Men And Women Really Just Be Friends?.

Oscar Wilde – “Between men and women there is no friendship possible. There is passion, enmity, worship, love, but no friendship.”

      1. For the past five years, the BEST friend I’ve EVER had has been a woman. So yes I think it can happen.

    1. Yes, this friendship is everywhere, of course. For how long the friendship between a man and a woman is friendship? Everybody is sincere, clear, honest with themselves and then with others in this friendship? Yes for a while…. Thank you for your comment, I appreciate. It helped me to make some question for myself and to write them here!

  1. Daniela, I totally enjoyed this post over at Zahir’s blog. I commented on it there, but will just add that men and women can be soulmates and be close platonic friends. They can also be soulmates and be romantically, sexually mated with each other. I am blessed in that my husband is my best friend, my soulmate, and my husband(sexually mated), all three!

  2. I think the same can be said for men and men or women and women. 🙂 Sexual impulses can be dismissed for the shallow animalistic urges they are. What’s beyond fleeting pleasures of the flesh is so much more fulfilling. But true friendship can only be achieved when one looks upon their friend not as a man or women, but as an equal. As a brother or sister.
    Peace & grace,
